Books Extension

Showcase your books, and add their prices and links to where users can buy them.

In this article, we will guide you through the process of adding Books screen to your app and how to add content to it.

Add Books screen

Go to Screens → press the + button → search Books → click on it to add it as one of the screens of your app. If this extension is not installed yet, you will be prompted to do so first.

Adding product

After adding Books screen to the app, Books settings page will open where you can add books by clicking on ADD ITEM button. For each book you can then add the following pieces of information:

1. Title
2. Author
3. Price
4. Description
5. Image
6. Buy link title
7. Buy URL

One of the nice built-in functionalities this extension has is native sharing. Your app users will be able to share a purchase link outside the app via native options offered by their mobile device (e.g. SMS, e-mail, WhatsApp messages, Viber messages, Facebook, etc.). The share button can be found in the upper right corner of the listing.

You can also categorize the books. One book item can be added to more than one category at the same time.

Once everything’s set, you’ll see the added books on the preview:
