Recently, we've introduced a new feature available in the app builder, called Favorites. This is the new module that will allow your app users to mark their favorite app content, in order to be able to access it faster, or just categorize it.
At the moment, users will be able to add their favorite Events, Places and Deals. We plan to add more content modules to this functionality in the future.
There aren't any special settings that need to be activated in order to add this functionality to your app. Just drag and drop the available module from the content screen to your app.
Note that favorites module will be available only for the type of content you currently have in your app. For example, if you don't have any events in your application, you won't be able to add the "My Events" favorite module.
You can see an example of adding the place to your favorite places below :
Just open the wanted place, and click the "Add to Favorites" button in the bottom. If you're not logged in currently, you will be prompted to do so. After you've added the place to your favorites, the confirmation message will appear, and you will be able to access the list of places marked as favorite, within separate module ( My Places ).
Also, you will be able to quickly recognize the place that is already on your favorite list, when browsing through the other content. Little star icon will indicate that this item is already on your favorite list.
