How do i white label my Eventbrite integration

Last Updated: Jul 02, 2015 05:03PM CEST
This article will cover the process of setting up a white labeled integration, used by our reseller clients. Keep in mind that you won't be able to use this customization in case you're running a standard account under our service.

Once you're logged into your Eventbrite account, you will need to navigate to the App Management page, or you can just do it by following the link here.

You should see the page, like the one one the screenshot below, where you need to click the "Create a new app" button.

Now, we're taken to the next screen, where we need to enter a few details, to finish up the creation of the new Eventbrite app. In the required fields, please enter the following :

First, Last and Company name - Here, you can enter your personal data, and set the company name to correspond to your ShoutEm agency name

Application URL - Set this to be the same as your agency login URL, for example

OAuth Redirection URL - here, use the agency login URL again, with adding the "eventbrite" in the end, like this :

Application name and description - can be set to whatever you want, where we suggest using your Company name for the Application name

Once finished, this page should look similar to the one below, and you can proceed by clicking the "Create Key" button.

The next page should display the newly created keys, for our Eventbrite white-label app. Here we need the Client ID key, and the Client secret parameters, that need to be entered within the ShoutEm interface. Clicking the "Show Client secret and OAuth Token" will expand the app details, allowing you to copy paste the needed keys. We will need the first two keys from this page, where the first one represents the Client ID, and the second one the Client secret, just like on the image below :

Leave this screen open, and go back to your ShoutEm account page, which you can navigate to, via this link .

Enter the key values from the previous image, into the respective fields, and hit the save button. This completes the process of white-labeled Eventbrite integration, and your clients will now authorize their Eventbrite events with their app, under white label.
